The Shure SLXD2+/K8B=-G57 is a wireless handheld transmitter fitted with the KSM8 Dualdyne™ cardioid dynamic microphone, built for dependable digital wireless performance in demanding live sound environments. Designed as part of the SLX-D+ platform, it delivers transparent 24-bit digital audio with more than 118 dB of dynamic range, pairing clear vocal reproduction with the rugged reliability expected from Shure handheld systems. Wide 138 MHz tuning supports broader geographic flexibility, while the dedicated ShowLink® Ease control link helps linked SLX-D+ transmitters and receivers stay synchronized even when RF conditions change. Once connected, the system can automatically manage interference, scan for new channels, and maintain clear transmission. ShowLink® Ease also enables remote adjustment of key transmitter settings from the linked receiver, including frequency changes, power level, control lock, and firmware updates. For system management, RF status and device parameters can be monitored through Wireless Workbench desktop software or remotely with the WWB Mobile app over Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. AES-256 Encryption is installed for secure operation, and power options include either two included AA batteries or optional Shure SB903 Li-ion rechargeable batteries. A rugged metal construction completes a transmitter made for professional use.
