The RCF SUB8004AS is a high-power active 18" subwoofer built for serious low-frequency performance in demanding professional sound applications. It combines a 2500 W peak, 1250 W RMS digital amplifier with a hypervented 18" woofer featuring a 4.0" voice coil, delivering deep, controlled bass with a frequency response of 30 Hz to 120 Hz and a maximum SPL of 136 dB. Designed for flexible system integration, the DSP-controlled input section includes selectable presets and practical tuning tools such as crossover control, phase switch, Deep/Punch selection, cardioid mode, and output delay settings. Balanced and unbalanced input support, XLR input and output connectors, and Powercon IN/OUT connections make it easy to incorporate into a wide range of live sound setups. The cabinet is built from Baltic birch plywood for tour-grade durability and is configured for multiple professional deployment options. The SUB8004AS is compatible with NXL23-A and NXL24-A for stacking, and it supports multiple configurations with HDL 10-A and HDL 20-A systems. Additional details such as convection cooling, thermal and RMS protection, an M20 pole mount, and rear-panel provision for four wheel mounting reinforce its road-ready design.
